Monday, February 22nd, 2010

If you’ve ever had problems writing a business letter you are no different than millions of other professionals that struggle with it every day. For some it is harder than others but the bottom line is it can really consume a large part of your time if you’re not comfortable with it. In fact writing a business letter can come in second only to public speaking for some. Well you don’t need to worry any longer since you can pick up some excellent business letter software programs for almost nothing.

For anyone that thinks that using a business letter software program to write your business letters is cheating, I would ask if they use a calculator! Same principle! If you use a calculator at all, then using software to help with your letter writing is no different, and makes perfect sense for the person that wants to be the most productive they can be. If you’re already a good letter writer, then good software can make you even better.

What I love most about the business letter software that I use is that it gives me a tremendous amount of examples. I believe it is over four thousand. 1f.1 can’t find the letter I’m looking for in all the examples they have provided I must be trying to find something that just doesn’t exist. In addition, it allows me to use the examples they provide exactly as they have written them or I can make any changes I wish to customize it so that it meets my needs.

If grammar or structuring a sentence is a problem for you then business letter software will make your life so much easier. I always had a problem either getting started or closing the letter, but I don’t have that problem anymore. Even if the letter I find doesn’t match up perfectly with what I want to say it get’s me started so that I can make a few adjustments and within minutes I am printing it out and mailing it off. The great news is that I look so smart and professional.

I haven’t run into one area yet that I haven’t been able to find the exact letter that matches closely with what I have trying to accomplish. In most cases I can replace just a couple of words here or put in the name of a company or person and I am done. On the other hand I can take what the business letter software initially provides and expand it into a great personalize business letter. My software program also provides just as many personal letters also which makes my life that much easier.

If your thinking that a business letter software program is expensive than your wrong. When I first began looking for something that would help me out I was ready to spend as much as it took. Especially for the person that is in sales, this can just blow your potential clients away with all the samples. As it turns out I was able to get the software program I use for less than forty dollars. Heck I spent more on my financial calculator and use it far less than my letter writing software.

A Look At Electrician Training Courses

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Lots of people choose a career within the electrical industry because it both appeals and motivates them. Although often assigned to as ‘Electro-Mechanical Engineering”, we will simply refer to this as the Electrical Industry. As there are a wide variety of global standards, we will focus on those from the UK and in particular those relating to the domestic and commercial markets. We will begin by reviewing the main issues first and come back to the ‘add-ons’ later, because of the huge number of options available as a career within this subject.

The electrical market has in our opinion two methods of entry. Initially there’s the more traditional apprenticeship approach, but equally there is now an alternative, suited to those who are keen to enter later in their life. There are two sets of people for consideration firstly the ‘Junior Entrants’ and secondly the ‘Mature Entrants’.

Mature Entrants who join the industry later on do so with the aim of working for themselves, usually as a one person business. By contrast, Junior entrants would seek to work with an established electrical firm and build their skill-sets as they train. To be fair, young apprentices leaving school will have a lot of supplementary skills to learn during their early years as a working adult.

The different ways into electrical work have two distinct types of training: The Junior Entrants syllabus involves NVQ/SVQ’s as well as proving working skills. As part of the training program an NVQ would be a requirement to attain. This means that work programs or apprenticeships have to be sought in order to arrange the necessary course work and testing phases of work.

By opting to work on a freelance basis, many Mature Entrants appear to focus on those areas that provide profitable and practical solutions other than NVQ’s. Having said that, the mature student does aim to gain the necessary skills to do the job, whilst at the same time reducing their training costs at all times. Although this may offer quicker and more commercial options, it does reduce the official requirements set for certain areas of the industry.

In terms of typical earnings, we have two clear routes – those relating to employment and those for self-employment. Whilst self-employed people can choose the hours that they work, we assume that they are working full time for the purpose of this review. Certainly, whilst salary levels can be affected by knowledge and qualifications, they can also be affected by competence and aptitude.

Wages for ‘Junior Entrants’ can become as high as 30,000 or more per annum with the right experience, although starting salaries are around 12,000. Conversely, the UK newspapers often report experienced mature electricians can expect an income of anything up to 70.000. That aside, many added costs need to be remembered by self employed people in order to make their business work. In addition to this they will also have to allow for items such as accountancy and personal/professional insurance. Aside from that, the current skills shortage within the UK still means that there’s lots of high value work out there. Certainly, working a full week is a realistic possibility for those who want to. It should be understood that the 70-100k figures that we see thrown around in newspapers are not easily achieved, and would either require working long hours or having assistants (or both.)

For the most part there is a strong difference between the Junior and Mature Entrants’ working week. Electricians who are ‘Junior Entrants’ would work a simple 40 hour working week. But due to the needs of the domestic market the Mature Entrant is often more reliant upon when their client base gets back from work. With many self-employed electricians the core of their income comes from items such as business testing and installation and as such operates during the main part of the week.

Once a career in electrical work has been chosen, a Junior Electrician is often at the mercy of their employer when it comes to learning new skills and expertise. Whereas the mature entrant can gain knowledge from any trade source – even one outside of the core of electrical work. Without a doubt the extra skills help them in their overall employ whether this is commercial or domestic work.

One new, fast growing area – one that invokes a wide array of skills sets and is new to the industry overall – is that of the ‘Green Engineer’. The chance to win some big employment and business advantages within the governmental as well as the traditional growth sector means that this area could be attractive to both Junior and Mature Entrants alike.

Market Your Book – Publicity And Promotion

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

So, you have completed and published your first book. What do you do now? Well, it is time to show you how book promotion and publicity market your book. Although this may appear to be a daunting task, there are numerous opportunities for you to take this most important step.

Hopefully, you chose a topic that has mass appeal. If you did, then there are numerous methods to employ to get you the exposure you need to start selling books. You will need to use the same creativity that was used in composing your book, to market it and to get publicity, so people can find it. Your most effective method will be to do some guerrilla marketing and take it to the streets, yourself. This may sound a little scary, but if done correctly, you will be amazed at the results.

Listen to the radio in your local market. You will likely find at least one station that has some talk show host that discusses similar topics as what you have written about. In every case, these hosts are always interested in having entertaining guests on their shows. It helps them develop a larger audience and you will get some good exposure. They are easy to contact and if you are local and have a good story to tell, they will love having you on their program.

The same process goes for local television. All stations are seeking a good story, especially if the person is from the local area. They are interested and usually very easy to work with and with all of the local programming, they are always looking for interesting people that have done something out of the ordinary.

How many bookstores are within 50 miles of where you live? Once you know that, contact them. Usually the best method is to make a personal visit and speak with the owner of the store. Again, assuming you have written about an interesting topic, you may get them to let you do a book signing. If you are really good, they may let you have a discussion group in the store explaining your topic and why you chose to write about it. Then you can meet with your potential customers, they can learn to like you and that generally creates some interest in buying your book. So, be prepared. You will need fliers and copies of the book. Try to set it up so you have a couple of weeks to advertise your visit. If you can tie that into a slot on a local radio or television station, you may be very surprised at how many people show up.

Local Networking meetings can be a great place to promote your book. Most of the people there are self employed and have an interest in supporting others in the same field. Be sure to have fliers and business cards to pass out and be sure to speak with everyone there. You may find someone that has contacts with the media, which can also help you get to the larger audiences.

All of these ideas necessitate you having a personality! The more of you that you can show in your interviews, personal meetings and book signings, the more people will relate to you and your book. If you do not think that you are capable of handling these ideas, knowing that if they work in one city they will do the same in others, you can revert to a more passive marketing approach. The Internet is the largest marketing opportunity on the planet. However, by creating a blog or launching a website can be costly and time consuming. This is not to say that this is a bad thing to do, but even if you create a wonderful site, but you do not know how to market it, you and your book will likely spend eternity in cyberspace with very few sales.

Lastly, there are companies that will try to help you. The problem here is that they are interested in selling stuff, too. They will offer books and seminars that are designed to help you market your book. Your challenge is to determine how interested they are in helping you or selling you their stuff. In most cases, you can take your product to the public with an entertaining approach. Be yourself and market that. If what you wrote about has any appeal, you can find people that will buy your book. Just make sure that you are prepared, professional and personal. Good luck.

Get additional essential book promotion strategies to help you market your book. Promoting books is easy once you know the publicity secrets of how to make your book a incredible bestseller.

The Internet Age Of The Bionic Marketer – The Birth Of A New Period In Web Marketing

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

The internet age of the bionic marketer is gathering steam as those who would benefit are publicizing the benefits on sites, blogs and news groups. It is a paid for service that supercharges any social media efforts in a sales environment.

It is not only pushing for social media to be a form of marketing, since it’s is already used as a very effective marketing tool from online businesses, radio, artists and writers alike. It is pushing for automated social media.

Social media is not just about getting the word out there, using your profile for financial gain; it is also a kind of entertainment and a way of keeping in contact with the people in our lives in bulk in the form of public or private messaging.

Social media is often certainly used as a form of marketing but can it be seen directly as a marketer on its own? Social networking is still largely a manual process, inviting friends and colleagues to an event on a one at a time basis. But how would it change things if we could semi-automate this process? What if we did not have to be in the sites ourselves all the time? What if we could set up events to be posted at some time in the future or generate auto responses?

Tracking your client’s behaviours on your site is already a vast improvement. From merely examining this information you are able to say where you’re failing, where you have a major strength or opportunity, and so on. Processing these facts can grow revenue and profits exponentially. We are capable of tailor-making our services depending on the particular demands of our customers. Again, all of this is labour-intensive. Wading through data is slow, tiresome and errors are easy to make.

The internet age proves to be a highly valuable tool for marketing and now we are moving into automating our internet marketing efforts with these media sites, the perfect automated marketer. On its own the internet has kept us in touch with our friends without the need to communicate with them all one by one, instead we have a bionic tool where we get to greet all of our friends and colleagues in one go. Using social media has enhanced our connections with each other; we have used it to find long lost friends or lovers and we have re-kindled old romances. A few short years ago the world was full of sad love stories of lost loved ones and missed connections. The reality of the new age in internet is that this is truly an issue of the past.

The new web age of marketing on auto-pilot has taken everything that we are as human beings and everything we have used to enhance our friendships, our social lives and the ways we communicate and super-enhanced this with automation. Speeding up the process of trial and error and finding marketing strategies that work and duplicating them, thus optimizing the benefits in the window periods afforded to internet marketers, which are growing smaller and smaller.

The internet age of the bionic marketer has automated much of which we are already doing on a daily basis in the various social media websites. For those in the sales industry figuring out what works well for this new online environment is a never-ending challenge. Now, once we have found what works the best and generates the most income, we can use the same techniques over and over again to generate revenue from the same customer base.

On a free website, you have free posting and do not misplace about online advertising solutions. So, you can receive your ad space online and earn money online with an affiliate income. To find your mlm leads look on the Internet.

When Making Dreams Come True Is As Easy As Brushing Our Teeth

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Can’t making dreams come true be just as easy? Can’t we free ourselves of our doubts? Is it not possible? How can we do it in a way so that it looks as easy as brushing our teeth? This is an excerpt form the book named ONE by Masami Sato and it shows how it can be done step-by-step, getting one ready to start walking towards one’s dreams today.

Every one of us has dreams. But every one does not have faith in themselves to have and live those dreams in their own lifetime. In reality, the secret of having such assurance is simple. The reason for our doubting it so much is also clear.

Let us start with the first question that can be asked to us..

Why don’t we do the things we want to do?

Often, our thoughts stop our actions. Sometimes the more we think about it, the less we become committed to accomplish what we initially wanted to do. Because the more we think about it, we come up with more and more reasons for not doing it.

Is it then possible to be sure that we will definitely accomplish what we want to do in our life?

Yes, absolutely! For a start, let’s look at the power of habits

If we are scheduled to go to a meeting tomorrow night, we wouldn’t spend lots of time thinking whether we can get there or not. We wouldn’t be concerned about the chance of having a car accident and missing the appointment. Just like when we are walking to the bathroom, we wouldn’t worry that the toilet might be broken!

We are always more assured about these day-to-day activities that happen every day. These are the habits.

However, we are doubtful about our dreams

Interestingly, there are so many things we are not so sure about. Especially the things we really want to do in our life – our Dreams!

Then, what is the secret for the conviction that we will accomplish our dreams?

First: Decide to make it a daily habit!

We can get started by being more confident about our acts meant to meet our desires – the type of dreams that actually fosters our life.

So, for example, if your dream is to give and contribute to society and giving is a key desire in your life, there is no reason to doubt that it’s possible for you to contribute to others. It can just become one of your daily habits.

Second: Try to make it as important (and as much easy) as brushing teeth..

Making a dream come true can be just like cleaning the teeth. It gives a very uncomfortable feeling if teeth are not brushed for a long time, isn’t it? Nobody spends hours thinking which brand of toothpaste to use or postpone brushing till there is some specific need to show clean teeth. We feel ill at ease with teeth that are not clean. So we just clean them. It is as simple as that.

Back to our example, if giving is our utmost desire, then we need to ask ourselves these questions: What if giving actually was as important as brushing our teeth? What if it makes us feel good? And what if it kept our life healthy?

No matter whether we have a lot or very little just now, we can definitely start giving it and sharing it with others today. No matter how seemingly unbelievable it is to fulfil our dreams, we can start proceeding towards them today. We should view it as something crucial, a priority issue that we should practice every day! Then we would feel unhappy if we don’t do it. Just like brushing our teeth.

and Third: Always give first, then we will get

When we are ready to give first before we have even got what we yearn for – what we are dreaming of – we are sending a strong message to ourselves which says, ‘there is enough, and more will come.’ It lets us know the joy today – the joy of sharing.

If you want to be prosperous, be generous. And then you would be blessed with loads of everything. If you are knowledgeable enough to do so, do not be scared of teaching others. And you will learn more. If you want to share things, share freely. Do not expect anything in return. Just let go. And joy will automatically be returned to you. The simple joy o f giving.

So do not be hesitant to dole out and share what you have, for it will not prevent you from achieving your purpose, whatever it is. It will only help you to realise your dreams more easily. And your journey through that path would be full of joy.

But are not habits very small, when compared to our BIG dreams?

Just manage do it, no need to worry about the ’scale’.

Because anything is possible in life. We might start things in a small way. And these small things will always take us to another action, and another. Having certainty in our small actions and executing them one by one always takes us forward. But if we thought it was ‘impossible’ to do something now because it just seemed ‘too big’, it will never happen.

The secret of achieving one’s dreams has always been there, and it will always be there. Those who are winners, who have inspired others, and have known perfect joy, have realized this. They are continuously using it.

Dreams and marvels are not accidents. We make them through our options.

So, would you probably start going towards your dreams today?

Bus Advertising : The Basics Explained

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Often people who use the bus no longer do it because they are not able to afford a car. Instead, many upscale professionals have environmental concerns or just want to be able to work and study while they commute.

Furthermore, with the introduction of advertising on the outside of buses, pedestrians and drivers alike will be forced to see the displayed ads, day in, day out, as they pass through the bus station or when they are stuck in traffic with a bus.

Bus advertising is the ideal venue if your marketing campaign aims to reach a large audience repeatedly and consistently. It will be seen by thousands of people every single day, people of all ages and cultural backgrounds, which is the equivalent of millions of impressions for a really low price.

Transit advertising also has a major advantage over the other means of reaching thousands of people; unlike TV or radio, it cannot be turned off. People are literally forced to see them, as they are waiting around and have nowhere else to look.

This means that bus advertising can really strengthen your marketing campaign or your brand when used with other media. By sheer repetition, this form of marketing will ensure that your brand is at the forefront of the customer’s mind whenever they think about whatever it is you are offering.

The cost of bus advertising differs depending on the city that you want to advertise in and on what particular routes. Larger cities will cost more because more people will see your ad. But for small companies, small cities are not as expensive and, if you need a geographical campaign, they are ideal.

When advertising via transit ads consistency is key. These campaigns are there for the long haul and they are not the best venue if you are promoting a one week campaign. You also need to be sensible because it will be seen by all sorts of audiences and you do not want to offend anyone.

As with all forms of advertising, you want your ads to be bold and demand attention and your slogan to be brief and sweet. It must be simple enough that it will be processed by a person’s mind even while they drive, listen to their iPod, or chat with other people.
